Tips On Accommodations In Beavercreek, Colorado And Why It Is Such A Wonderful Place

Vail, Colorado is one of the most beautiful and frequently visited mountain towns in the Rocky Mountains for its top notch ski area and its quaint European village that boasts top notch restaurants and accommodations. Further down the road by about 10-15 minutes tucked behind the town of Avon, is the Beavercreek resort which has also become a great place and tends to be smaller and less crowded than Vail. Here you can stay in the slope side Hyatt Regency with its enormous antler chandelier as well as many beautiful iron chandeliers or iron chandelier. For more affordable places, there are various condos here as well.

The Beavercreek Hyatt has some awe inspiring views once you enter the lobby with its gigantic floor to ceiling window that overlooks the ski area. In the winter, you can strap on your skis that are kept in a guest locker area and hit the slopes or if you visit there in the summertime, you can lay by the pool that is right at the base of the mountain that is covered in colorful wildflowers.

If the Hyatt is too expensive, there are several condominiums located around the main village that are somewhat more affordable and offer the guests a bit more space. They vary in types of accommodations and prices so there is sure to be something for everyone who wishes to enjoy Beavercreek. There is a bubbling creek that runs through the area and some of the condos are located right next to it, offering the soothing sounds of rushing water to its guests. Oxford Court is located on the creek and is just a short walk to the center of the village which is most convenient. The units are all separately owned so you may negotiate with the owner or the resort company to book one of their units. The Charter is another great place that has been there for years and has a great location and special mountain views also.

For a real splurge, you can stay at the newly built Ritz-Carlton in Bachelor Gulch which is a valley down the hill from the village of Beavercreek. Many celebrities enjoy staying here as it is less busy and crowded than Vail and the accommodations are the highest you can get. Another high priced, new addition to Beavercreek is the Cordillera resort. It is known for the four top rated golf courses in a beautiful mountain setting in addition to its location perched up on top of a mountain looking over the Vail valley.

One of the unique aspects in the center of this smaller European village is a large ice skating rink that can be used year round. Beaver Creek is also known for its world class art galleries and its newer theatre that hosts several musical concerts. Vail offers a lot more things to do and restaurants but it is nice to be able to visit and then retreat back to the little, quieter Beavercreek, just down the road.
